My name is Thai Nguyen, a young vietnamese man at the age of 18 who lives far to the west of Finland, in the small community called Vaasa. I am currently studying my second year at the upper secondary, with the goal of applying for an IT-education with focus on webdesign/(web)developement. Beside my small interests for computers, I also take interest in anime and manga, as well as j-rock/visual kei. More broadly speaking, Japanese popculture in general has become a big part of my interests too.

Blogging

I’ve been around in the Swedish blogosphere for over a year before I decided to move on into the international ground. I’ve been mainly writing about my interests in japanese popculture (forwarded news, delivered reviews and expressed some opinions about this and that) with not too much effort on trying to be one of the better writers in the nisch, mainly because I enjoy doing this just for… joy. I have never wanted to get anywhere while blogging – sharing opinions and forwarding interesting piece of news is just enough, so don’t expect Mizu to be anything special except the fact that it is a channel for me to share with anyone who’s interested.

The future

A dream among many, which I think I share with most of you, is that I want to visit Japan and experience its culture as well as popculture. My big interest started with the famous animeseries Sailor Moon and Dragonball Z, which are boths classics that had their run on the Finnish television quite many years ago. As I began to dig more into the genre, I also came in contact with the mangaseries while my addiction to music genres as j-pop and visual kei started to grow, still raising above the skies. I am not going too much into the details, but I hope that I really can work with every side of my interests sometimes in the future. Hopefully I’ll manage to set my foot in Japan. Be it if they throw me out and condemn me as an extraordinaire fag. ^^
