Almost two weeks ago I discovered that I actually had lots of frequent shopping points over at CDJapan, let alone a coupon code received from their Christmas campaign, so I decided to redeem everything at once on Kagrra,’s latest single and album; Shiki and Shu respectively. The order ended up at 3600 yen (~ 27€), shipping included. Well, the actual price for this particular order would have been 5500 yen if I didn’t have redeemed all my 1900 points (1pts = 1 yen).
Two days ago my package finally arrived. The moment the mailman handed it over to me I once again felt like I was a child during Christmas eve, who’s about to open his gifts only to find what he loves the most. In my case I really love Kagrra, they’re my favourite band afterall. After disposement of wrapping papers I could proudly declare myself a happy owner of two new masterpieces, in their forms of three discs filled with nice combos of modern rock and traditional asian tunes. The two covers blended my eyes as if they were gold. :3

Shiki, front cover of the limited edition. Consists of two tracks and a bonus DVD filled with the PV for the titletrack itself.
Now, regarding my new CD:s -- Shiki is a Limited Edition which came with a bonus DVD filled with a music video for the title track itself and a small photo gallery. Shu, their latest full length album, on the other hand is just a regular version. I should have the LE-edition of it also if only I had looked through my cart carefully before placing the order, but it’s not a big deal now when I think about it. Booklets for each CD was also included, I just love the pictures of the bandmembers in them. Though I can’t read the lyrics written I think that I’ll guard all the extra material with my own life, I mean -- especially Nao and Isshi are hot!

Kagrra's latest album - Shu. The above picture images the regular edition. Should've bought the limited edition instead but oh well. -.-'
Those of you who don’t own Shiki/Shu can always have a look at my copies. I hope that 1600x1200px resolution pictures are enough. ^^
Yeah, by the way; Expect reviews on Shiki and Shu respectively, shortly. While you wait for my fingers to get ready, here’s two great pieces for you to enjoy. Both from the CD’s I bought!
Incredibly perfect blend of Koto and rock instruments without any feeling of forced-ness. Awesome.
